BBC: Why rent control isn’t working in Sweden

It seems that rent control doesn’t really work in Sweden, where the inevitable shortage now leads to an “average waiting time for a rent-controlled property [of] nine years” in Stokholm. Intervention would be a great key concept and there is much to evaluate (pros vs. cons) about rent control in this case. Note that this article is a little long, so make sure that you can fit it into two pages. Otherwise, your teacher and the external moderators are not going to read beyond two pages.
